Around him, people believe he is a dangerous man because of the cold glare he carries. However thats only when hes focusing really hard. It's as if he has a split personality that triggers at different times, when you least expect it. His glasses ego is rude and sarcastic. He enjoys intimidating his students and other staff members. On the other hand, his glasses-less persona is caring and has believes in a greater side of life. All he wants is for his students to be successful as well as his co-employees.

At a young age, his father left his Mom and him. They were forced to survive on their own. Luckily Andrea was a reporter who was wealthy by herself. Without his father, Clyde was still able to attend the high class schools and be invited to the most popular kids' parties. However his cold demeanor was always the same as it is now, but it was just thought to be a charming quality at the time. Soon, Clyde became distant and his high school years are when everybody grew afraid of him.

The affect it had on him was that he changed drastically, with his glasses on. It wasn't just the stare anymore, it was the behavior he had towards others. It was a little different, for there was a girl on campus who understood Clyde and the misinterpretation of his attitude. Though the girl had a boyfriend, and Clyde wasn't someone who stole a girl. He waited, but they never broke up. A month later, the girl moved. Clyde was devastated. He promised to not let the next girl he falls for go and he is still following that promise.
